Flight and Cabin crew.Prerequisites : none.
6 maximum per session.
Syllabus
• Concept and objective of First aid
• Evaluation of a victim
• Procedures for managing a medical situation
• Principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• Care of injured person
• Airways, Breathing, Circulation, Lateral safety position (PLS),
• Choking, Cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of Automatic defibrillator on board
• Medical emergencies
• Stroke, Hearth attack, Hypoxia, Hyperventilation / Asthma,
• Cardiovascular disorders, Nervous system disorders, Barotrauma,
• Contamination of the skin / eyes by aviation fuel or hydraulic or other fluids, Gastro-intestinal problems, Behavioral problems,
• Other problems (diabetes, allergic reactions, pregnancy),
• Hygiene and food poisoning, Malaria.
